1. Coat a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium temperature.

2. Place the ground turkey in the skillet and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring from time to time, until it reaches 165°F internally and shows no pink. Pour off excess fat.

3. Add the diced tomatoes along with their juice, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, minced garlic, oregano, and ground black pepper. Stir to combine.

4. Allow the mixture to come to a boil, then lower the heat and cover the skillet.

5. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. While the sauce develops, bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the spaghetti following the box instructions. Drain thoroughly.

7. Serve the sauce over the hot spaghetti.
