1. Peel the bananas and cut them into quarters: halve them widthwise first, then cut each half lengthwise.

2. Warm a skillet over low heat. Add the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, stirring until the mixture bubbles and the sugar melts.

3. Arrange the banana quarters in the pan with the cut sides facing down. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until they begin to color and caramelize slightly.
