    2. Split the pears in half lengthwise and use a spoon to hollow out the cores.

    3. Arrange pears in an 8x8-inch baking dish with the cut sides facing down.

    4. Pour the apple juice and water around the pears, then drizzle with honey.

    5. Loosely cover with foil and roast for about 35 minutes until the pears are tender.

    6. Transfer the baking liquid to a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until reduced to approximately 1/4 cup. Let cool.
