1. Heat 3/4 cup low-fat milk in a microwave, skillet, or saucepan until it reaches a steaming temperature, about 2 minutes.

2. Place 1/4 cup couscous and 2 tablespoons raisins or dried fruit in a bowl or mug.

3. Pour the heated milk over the couscous and fruit.

4. Cover the bowl and allow it to rest for 5–10 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed.

5. If desired, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons chopped nuts and drizzle with honey to taste.
